This module is recognized as an input/output module and can access processor memory to transfer data between the processor and the module.
Ladder logic is used for data transmission between modules and processors. Contains sample ladder files.
The configuration data obtained from the configuration text file downloaded to the module. Contains sample configuration files
Local or remote rack
Functional specifications
The BASIC program is stored on the MVI56 BAS Compact Flash drive,
Allow users to easily backup BASIC programs to another Compact
Flash drive or local PC. Up to 24065 bytes of RAM can be provided.
This module contains three ports:
DH-485: DH-485 communication or BASIC program transmission
PRT1: ASCII communication or program port
PRT2: ASCII communication or DF1 communication
Users can create BASIC programs using the command line, and then
Save it to Compact Flash or create a program on your PC and download it to
MVI56-BAS module. Users can also configure the module to
Automatically execute the BASIC program when powered on.
Support for BASIC-52 programming language
Storing BASIC programs on compact flash drives
Supports 24064 bytes of RAM
Easy backup of BASIC programs
DF1 communication
PRT2 can be enabled and configured for DF1 communication through BASIC calls
Using ladder logic to transfer data between DF1 devices and ControlLogix processors
The PRT2 port can be configured as a full duplex device or a half duplex slave device
MVI56 BAS can send the following DF1 commands:
PLC-2 Unprotected READ Command
PLC-2 Unprotected Write Command
PLC-3 Word Range Read Command
PLC-3 Word Range Write Command
PLC-5 Type the READ command
WRITE command of PLC-5 type
MVI56 BAS accepts the following command:
PLC (Word Range Write)
PLC (Typed Write)
PLC (unprotected write)
SLC 5/02 (Unprotected Write)
SLC 5/02 (Typed Write)
