UCD208A101 Operation
1. Turn on the rack power of the paired (slave) rack.
2. Wait for the 1757-SRM module to complete the power on cycle.
·It takes 1… 3 minutes to power up the SRM module.
·It may also take several minutes to synchronize the slave controllers.
·Whether one 1757-SRM module displays PRIM and the other module displays PRIM
SYNC？
·Yes – End. The system is synchronized.
·No – There is a problem. The system is not synchronized. Go to step 3.
3. Ensure that the SRM Auto Synchronization option is set to
Always. For help, see Chapter 4.
·Whether one 1757-SRM module displays PRIM and the other module displays PRIM
SYNC？
·Yes – End. The system is synchronized.
·No – Go to Troubleshoot a Failure to Synchronize for 105.
UCD208A101 Please perform this step under the following conditions:
·Use the SRM configuration tool for the first time.
·Connect to other ControlLogix redundant systems for the first time.
·Update the firmware of ControlLogix redundant systems.

SRM Configuration Tool for and earlier versions of ControlLogix Redundancy Systems

·Version 2.6 is only redundant with version 13. x or higher ControlLogix
Other systems are compatible.
·If you use version 2.6 tools to match version 11. x or earlier
The 1757-SRM will fail.
