This section provides information on the approval ordering options available for Bently Nevada 161216-01 products. The approval types determine the product markings, and it’s important to note that this information may vary slightly between different products. To check whether a specific approval type is available for a particular product, refer to the “Multi-Approvals” section on page 3 of this document.

1. -00 for No Hazardous Area Approvals:
   • This option indicates that the product does not require installation in a hazardous area.
   • While there are no hazardous area approvals, the product may still have General Safety and EMC Compatibility certifications from various regions.
   • The -00 option typically includes most required markings and is suitable for global ordering. Exceptions may exist for countries requiring additional metrology or passport information (e.g., Russia).
2. ATEX/IECEx Hazardous Area Approvals for the European Union and International Ordering Options:
   • Some products offer an ordering option for isolated ATEX/IECEx marking.
   • ATEX/IECEx information is relevant for installations in the European Union (EU) and most international countries. Notable exceptions include North America, parts of South America, and countries listed in Country Specific Approvals.
   • A reference to the “Multi-Approvals” label may indicate that ATEX/IECEx markings are included through this label.
3. Multi-Approvals:
   • Multi-approval labels are special labels, often designated as -05 or -02, that include both CSA hazardous and ATEX/IECEx markings.
   • These labels can be selected for installations in North America, parts of South America, the EU, and international countries not listed in Country Specific Approvals.
   • Due to space constraints on the product, historical multi-approval labels may have included country-specific approval information. Still, they are now split into different country-specific approval options.
4. Country Specific Approvals:
   • Certain countries or regions may require additional marking and information beyond CSA, ATEX/IECEx, or multi-approvals.
   • These countries have been assigned their own dash options.
   • If the final installation of the product will be in one of these specific regions or countries, the corresponding country-specific approval option must be selected instead of the options outlined above.
