Description
CM10/200S0E0/STD has three types of embedded substrates, 331313 and 323. This number is based on the CPU contained in each base plate
Type. This chapter only discusses the substrate characteristics of these products. Refer to Chapter 4 for details about the CPU of embedded CPU base plate.
Embedded CPU base plate has the following features:
■ The type of CPU cannot be changed
■ It does not support expansion and remote racks, CM10/200S0E0/STD, so these racks do not have expansion connectors like modular CPU base plates
■ 311 and 313 are 5-slot substrates and 323 are 10-slot substrates
■ Since it is not necessary to insert a CPU module, all numbered slots, including slot 1, can be used for I/O or optional modules.
■ The storage backup battery is located in the power module, CM10/200S0E0/STD. Therefore, if the power is removed from the base plate, the battery will
The memory circuit has lost its connection. However, the backplane circuit board contains high-value capacitors, sometimes referred to as “supercapacitors.”,
If the power supply is removed or the battery is not connected, the storage load of the capacitor can maintain the memory circuit for about 1 hour. Section
Chapter 6 discusses the IC693ACC315 battery accessory package, which can be used to maintain memory after removing the power supply from the embedded CPU backplane
The contents of the container.
■ There is no switch or jumper on 311, 313, and 323 base plates
■ Embedded CPU base plate is always assigned to rack 0 (0) by default
■ The power module must be inserted in the left slot (not numbered) of the base plate. The left slot has a unique size and style, which only supports
Power module.
■ CPU module (or special optional module) CM10/200S0E0/STD must be installed in the first slot of this substrate. Slot 1 has a unique size
The and styles only support CPU modules or special optional modules, such as FIP remote I/O scanner (IC693BEM330)
Slot 1 is marked as CPU/1.
■ Slots 2 and above have unique dimensions and styles that only support I/O or optional modules.
■ Support expansion and remote base plate, so there is a 25 pin D-type socket expansion connector at the right end of the base plate for connecting expansion
Exhibition or remote substrate.
■ Since the CPU is modular, if other features are needed, the CPU can be replaced or changed to a different type.
■ Only one CPU base plate is allowed for each system. If a system needs to use multiple base plates, other base plates must
As a base plate for expansion or remote type.
■ Modular CPU base plate is always assigned to rack 0 (0) by default
