The following are the prerequisites to install and operate S800 IO DTM version 5.3:
• Operating System (any of the following):
– Windows Server 2008
– 32-bit (x86) R1 with Service Pack 2 or
– R2 with Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
– Windows 7 with Service Pack 1
– 32-bit (x86) or
– 64-bit (x64)
• ABB FDT Shared Components:
– Version 13.0.0.0
• ABB FDT Base Container:
– Version 13.0.0.0
For remote I/O, a PROFIBUS master DTM is required (for example
AC800F DTM).
To use the HART functionality together with the DTMs AI815, AI845, AI880,
AI895, AO815, AO845 and AO895, a HART DTM has to be installed (for example
Basic HART DTM).
The S800 I/O DTM version 1.0/0 and higher will not run in frame applications
conforming to version 0.98 of the FDT specification. The FDT versions differ in
