ABB DP820 3BSE013228R1 Connecting the RS422 pulse transducer

Description

Each channel has four inputs (A, B, ST and
DI) and one output (DO). The input signals A
and B are used as pulse inputs. The input
signals ST and DI is used for synchronizing,
sampling and gated count purposes.
The balanced inputs A, B and ST can be
connected to pulse transducers with RS422, 5
V, 12 V, 24 V and 13 mA signal levels if an extended MTU is used (TU830).

Adaption to different signal levels is made by using different terminals on the MTU
(see section about process connection).Features

accumulation in a bidirectional 29 bit

measurement.
