DSMB-01C test process:
1. Connect the bus module and sub module to the network and power supply, change the computer to the GESS default IP segment 192.168.0. X, and use the micro data cable to connect the module and the computer USB port.
2. Configure the GESS module through GX-ToolBox software. After entering the software, create a new project, and configure the software addition module in the order of physical connection.
3. After the software configuration is completed, click the module to set the module. For example, the analog module can set the current, voltage type, and resolution bits. Because it is a mixed module and is configured with four channels of output, current type and voltage type output can be used at the same time. The resolution bits determine the number of bytes ABB robots communicate with and the map address configuration.
4. After setting, click Communication. In fact, the parameters are downloaded through the serial port. After setting the port number, baud rate and subsequent parameters, click Open Port, and click Download Options to transfer the parameters to the GSEE module.
5. After the module parameters are uploaded, use IPconfig to scan the modules on the network and set the IP address (note: the IP address here determines the setting of the dial switch).
6. After the software assigns the IP address, change the IP address of the module to 6 through a screwdriver. The GSEE module has three rotary dials, which are one hundred, ten, and one bit of the IP address.
7. After the configuration of the GSEE module is completed, you can then set the ABB robot, connect it to the controller through Robotstdio, and then transfer it through the file. Upload the EDS of the GSEE module to the Home folder of the robot CF card, enter “View”, “Industrial Network”, click EtherNet/IP, and then “Scan EDS Files”.
8. Enter the control panel, set the ABB robot master station IP in the connection configuration, and connect the GSEE module network cable to the IRC5 WAN network interface (depending on the actual situation, or use the LAN3 network interface).
9. The IP address must be on the same network segment as the module, but cannot conflict. Set the connection port as WAN port.
10. Enter the IO setting page, select EtherNet/IP Device, enter and add it. Because the EDS file has been imported before, the configuration template of the GSEE module has been set in the inverted triangle position of the page. Select GXCEI-EC-Exclusive owner.
11. The IP address set here is the software configuration of the GSEE module and the corresponding address of the dial switch, because one byte digital input module, one byte digital output module and four channel analog output module are used above. The resolution of the single channel analog output module is 16bit, so actually the Output Size (Byte) is set to 1+8byte.
12. After the master station parameters are set, analog output can be set in io/signal. The following is the final test demonstration.
