DSSA165 Sea Fixing Irrigation Expansion and Water Lifting Project was built in the 1990s. It is the “No. 1 Project” of Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation in the last century. However, due to the limitation of economic and technical conditions during the project construction period, the mechanical and electrical equipment and engineering facilities of DSSA165 are seriously aged and out of repair after years of operation, resulting in large energy consumption, low efficiency and unsafe operation of the project. In order to further consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, promote regional ecological protection and high-quality economic and social development, the national and local governments have raised a lot of manpower and financial resources to upgrade the project, so as to eliminate potential safety hazards, reduce energy consumption, enhance the capacity of regulation and storage, and improve the water supply security level of existing irrigation areas.
According to the data, the total investment of DSSA165 Sea Fixing Irrigation Expansion and Water Lifting Renovation Project is about 2.7 billion yuan. Through the renovation of the original 19 pump stations, the project will update 109 sets of electromechanical equipment of the pump station, build more than 70 kilometers of trunk and branch channels, and widely apply information technology to improve the efficiency of the pump station, complete the pump station automation and engineering information system, to ensure project safety and water supply safety.
This time, ABB will provide high-voltage modular motors for 44 sets of large water pumps as the drive of water pump equipment in the fourth batch of two bid sections of the renovation project.
