As the system expands, network efficiency will decrease. The maximum communication speed of Siemens Profibus within 100m is 12M, and as the distance increases, the speed rapidly decreases. The maximum communication distance is 1200m, and the speed rate is 9.6kbps at 1200m. See Siemens ST70.2003 P39
