Description

The working principle and characteristics of general relay are:?? The relay is an electronic control device. The UAD155A0111 has a control system (also known as input circuit) and a controlled system (also known as output circuit). It is usually used in the automatic control circuit. In fact, it is an “automatic switch” that uses a small current to control a large current. Therefore, it plays the role of automatic adjustment, safety protection and conversion circuit in the circuit.

As a control element, UAD155A0111 can be summarized as follows:
The function of the relay is mainly to amplify. With a very small current, it can control the circuit with large power and expand the control range. When the signal reaches a certain value, it can change, break and connect multiple circuits according to different forms of contact groups at the same time to achieve the purpose of automatic switch.
In addition to the above functions, the relay has many other functions. It can form a program control line with other electrical appliances to achieve automatic operation. At the same time, it also integrates signals. When multiple control signals are input into the multi winding relay in the specified form, the UAD155A0111 achieves the predetermined control effect after comparison.
At present, electromagnetic relay is widely used in the market, so I will focus on this.
Working principle and characteristics of electromagnetic relay Electromagnetic relay is generally composed of iron core, coil, armature, contact reed, etc. As long as a certain voltage is applied to both ends of the coil, a certain current will flow through the coil, resulting in an electromagnetic effect. The armature will overcome the pull of the return spring and attract to the iron core under the action of electromagnetic attraction, thus driving the dynamic contact and the static contact (normally open contact) of the armature to attract. When the coil is powered off, the electromagnetic attraction will also disappear, and the armature will return to the original position in the reaction force of the spring, making the moving contact and the original static contact (normally closed contact) attract. In this way, the circuit can be connected and disconnected.
Electromagnetic relay is the earliest and most widely used type. Its structure and working principle are basically the same as those of the contactor. It is composed of electromagnetic system, contact system, release spring, etc. The principle of electromagnetic relay is shown in Figure l. As the relay is used to control the circuit, the current flowing through the contact is relatively small (generally below 5A), so no arc extinguishing device is required.

According to the number of turns of electromagnet coil, it can be divided into voltage relay and current relay; If the coil has many turns and large impedance and can be directly connected to the power supply, it is called a voltage relay; If the coil turns are small, the impedance is small, and the coil can be connected in series with a load (such as a certain phase of the motor), it is called a current relay.
Optical lift relay may be unfamiliar to you. In fact, its switching role in the circuit, or more generally, its “control” role, is often seen. For example, when the car turns, the indicator light, an “eye” on its head, flickers on, which means that the relay is working. In the control box on the head of the trolley bus, there is always a crackling sound. Many relays are busy working, controlling the speed, start and stop of the trolley bus. You pick up the phone and dial a number, and soon you are connected to the person you want to call. Whose role is this? Or relay. Take the fluorescent lamp we often use for example. The starter there is actually a relay.
In fact, relays are everywhere. Have you carefully noticed the escalators in shopping malls and supermarkets? Most escalators run faster when there are people on the escalator and slower when there are no people on the escalator, which is the result of the relay. Some common electrical appliances in life also have relays, such as telephones, loudspeakers, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.
The above examples highlight the importance of relays. How to choose a good relay?
1. Select the rated working current of electromagnetic relay coil: for DC electromagnetic relay driven by transistors or integrated circuits, the rated working current of its coil (generally twice the pull in current) shall be within the output current range of the drive circuit.
2. Selection of contact type and contact load of electromagnetic relay: relay of the same model usually has multiple contact forms for selection (electromagnetic relay includes: single group contact, double group contact, multiple groups contact, normally open contact, normally closed contact, etc.), and the contact type suitable for the application circuit shall be selected.
3. Select the power supply voltage of the electromagnetic relay coil: when selecting the electromagnetic relay, first select whether the relay coil power supply voltage is AC or DC. The rated working voltage of relay shall be generally less than or equal to the working voltage of its control circuit.
4. Select the appropriate volume of electromagnetic relay: the size of the relay volume is usually related to the size of the relay contact load. The size of the relay shall also be determined according to the requirements of the application circuit.
