Description

UGTMEM-01SB47SR is used to measure the generator stator side signal. It directly measures the three-phase voltage and current of the generator and calculates other signals through these quantities, such as P (active), Q (reactive), f (frequency), etc. At the same time, it provides electrical isolation between strong electrical parameters and measured signals.
Extended gate control board (EGC)
UGTMEM-01SB47SR is used as the backup channel of dual channel configuration.
EGC is installed in the same metal box together with COB and MUB, but it is structurally independent.

LCP can be used for local operation of UNITROL 5000 excitation system.
It can also display important process signals.
It is programmable and connected to the system through the ARCNET bus.
Silicon controlled rectifier
Three phase full wave bridge rectifier is adopted, which is composed of 4 power cabinets.
The silicon controlled rectifier bridge drives the silicon controlled rectifier through a gate drive board (GDI) for rectification.
Each power element of the rectifier is equipped with fast fuse protection, so as to cut short circuit fault in time and send signals.
When a power cabinet is out of operation, it can meet the requirements of generator forced excitation and 1.1 times of rated current operation.
When the two power cabinets are out of operation, they can provide the excitation capacity required by the rated working condition of the generator, and cannot be forced excited.
If three power cabinets fail, the excitation will be cut off automatically
It is strictly forbidden to open the door of the power cabinet during operation, otherwise, the power cabinet will automatically exit from operation.
The standard rectifier (n=4) has four parallel silicon controlled rectifier bridges, of which at least one is redundant (n-1) configuration. (n-1) means that when a thyristor fails, the system can still meet the maximum excitation power.
Cooling mode: forced cooling with redundant fans. When both cooling fans are out of operation, the rectifier cabinet is out of operation. In addition, the rectifier has temperature protection and trips at 90 ℃.
Rectifier bridge interface board (CIN), gate driver (GDI)
The main function is to send the sequence pulse used to trigger the three-phase full control bridge to the gate drive board/pulse trigger board GDI.
Used to monitor all electronic components of the rectifier bridge. Its main function is to monitor the fan, temperature and fuse.
The positive and negative output connections of each rectifier bridge are equipped with current sensors. According to these input values, CIN can automatically adjust the current of each thyristor to realize current sharing of parallel bridge.
The actual status of the rectifier bridge is displayed on the rectifier bridge display panel CDP on the cabinet door.
GDI: gate driver/pulse trigger board amplifies the pulse to the level necessary for thyristor triggering.
