Description

work environment
1. Temperature
PLC requires an ambient temperature of 0-55 ℃, and should not be placed under components with high heat generation during installation. The surrounding ventilation and heat dissipation space should be large enough, and there should be a spacing of more than 30mm between the basic unit and the expansion unit; There should be ventilation louvers on the upper and lower parts of the switchgear to prevent direct sunlight; If the surrounding environment exceeds 55 ℃, an electric fan should be installed for forced ventilation.
2. Humidity
To ensure the insulation performance of the PLC, the relative humidity of the air should be less than 85% (without condensation).
3. Vibration
The PLC should be kept away from strong vibration sources to prevent frequent or continuous vibrations with a vibration frequency of 10~55Hz. When vibration is unavoidable in the operating environment, shock absorption measures must be taken, such as using shock absorption adhesive.
4. Air
Avoid corrosive and flammable gases such as hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, etc. For environments with high levels of dust or corrosive gases in the air, the PLC can be installed in a well enclosed control room or cabinet, and an air purification device can be installed.
5. Power supply
The PLC power supply is 50Hz, 220 (110%) V AC, and the PLC itself has sufficient resistance to interference from the power line. For occasions with high reliability requirements or environments with particularly severe power interference, an isolation transformer with a shielding layer and a 1:1 ratio can be installed to reduce interference between the equipment and the ground. LC filtering circuits can also be connected in series at the power input end.

The FX series PLC has a DC 24V output terminal that can provide DC 24V power for input sensors such as photoelectric switches or proximity switches. When using an external DC power supply at the input end, a DC stabilized power supply should be selected. Due to the influence of ripple, ordinary rectification and filtering power supplies can easily cause the PLC to receive incorrect information.
Installation and wiring
1. The power line, control line, and PLC power line and I/O line should be wired separately, and the isolation transformer should be connected to PLC and I/O using double adhesive wires.
2. PLC should be kept away from strong interference sources such as welding machines, high-power silicon rectifier devices, and large power equipment, and cannot be installed in the same switchgear as high-voltage electrical appliances.
3. It is best to separate the input and output lines of the PLC, and the switch and analog quantities should also be laid separately. The transmission of analog signals should use shielded wires, and the shielding layer should be grounded at one or both ends. The grounding resistance should be less than 1/10 of the shielding layer’s resistance.
4. The connecting cables between the PLC basic unit, expansion unit, and functional module should be laid separately to prevent interference from external signals.
5. Do not use the same cable for the AC output line and DC output line. The output line should be as far away from the high-voltage line and power line as possible to avoid parallelism.
