Description

The (RPS) redundant power supply (P0973BP) must be used with the (RPSC) Redundant Power Supply Chassis (P0973BM/BN). This chassis does not have AC power connections or electronics. The P0973BN power supply chassis accommodates two RPSes (P0973BP) which can support up to two P0973JM, P0973JN, P0973JP, P0973KJ, or P0973LK switches. The P0973BM power supply chassis accommodates up to eight RPSes (P0973BP) which can support up to eight P0973JM, P0973JN, P0973JP, P0973KJ, or P0973LK switches.

PLC programmable logic controller: It uses a type of programmable memory for storing programs internally, executing user oriented instructions such as logical operations, sequential control, timing, counting, and arithmetic operations, and controlling various types of mechanical or production processes through digital or analog input/output.

communication mode
There are various types of PLCs on the market, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, which can meet the various needs of users. However, they differ in form, composition, function, programming, and other aspects, and there is no unified standard. The communication protocols formulated by various manufacturers also vary greatly. At present, people mainly use the following three methods to achieve interconnection communication between PLC and PC:
(1) Use commonly used upper computer configuration software such as COOLMAYHMI, KingView, Touch, Force Control, etc. to achieve interconnection communication between PLC and PC.
(2) By using the system protocol and network adapter provided by the PLC developer, the interconnection communication between PLC and PC.
(3) Utilize the standard communication ports provided by PLC manufacturers and user-defined free port communication methods to achieve interconnection communication between PLC and PC.

There are several situations where PLC and all-in-one machine cannot communicate with PC:
(1) The computer serial port is broken and cannot be used
(2) The laptop uses USB to 232, but the driver is not installed properly
(3) The computer serial port may leak electricity and burn out the PLC download protection resistor
(4) Incorrect selection of COM port on computer hardware
(5) Communication is possible, communication is unstable. Check the circuit and replace the computer to try it out
