Description

PMP10.24SIC As already described the modules of the HIMA PES have a high reliability,

so that modules will fail only in long time intervals. We do not recommend

establishing a repair by the user as special testing programs are necessa

ry the legal requirements for intrinsically PMP10.24SIC safe and fail-safe modules.

Defective modules are sent to HIMA for repair with a short fault description

after they have been checked on the customer’s premises. The fault des

cription should contain:

– fault history

– measurements to repair up till now

– Detailed failure diagnosis (refer to the user manual ELOP II and the

user manual resource type), in case of redundant PES the diagnosis

of both central modules should be sent

With input/output modules the fault description should contain an informa

tion to the measures to repair up till now (check of the power supply, ex

change of the module.

PMP10.24SIC Appointments can be made with the Service Department VTS concerning

startup, testing or modifying of the control cabinets as well as the extent of

the work to be done.

HIMA makes special training based on the current training program for its

software programs and the hardware of the PES. PMP10.24SIC This training usually

takes place in HIMA. We also offer training on site on the customer’s pre

mises. Please send for information on the current training program as well

as for the dates of the internal training at HIMA. Offers and external trai

ning or special training can also be appointed

In the appendix you can find the data sheets for the assembly kits, the data

connection cables and the modules in alphanumerical order. The following

lists and tables gives you an overview.

The block diagrams already show the direction of signal flow from the top

to the bottom.

With input modules the input signal (from sensor, proximity switch etc.) is

lead via the cable connector and input module to the I/O bus or in the me

chanical principle from the front to the rear side of the I/O subrack.

With output modules the result of the logic operation in the user’s program

is switched from the I/O bus to the output amplifier via the cable connector

to the actuators (relay, magnetic valve etc.). The mechanical principle ist

from the rear to the front side of the I/O subrack.

By knowing the direction of signal flow you also are able to see on which

side the 5 V and 24 V operating voltages are fed in.
