Description

A pair of fans are mounted in the roof. The following types are available:
• Papst, type 4184NX, operating voltage 24 Vdc
• Honeywell SMS fan unit which can be delivered in 3 voltages 24 Vdc, 115
Vac, and one for 230 Vac. For a data sheet of the 24 Vdc fan unit see
“FS-FANWR-24R” on page 41.
The Honeywell SMS fan units consist of a pair of fans. A read-back contact
indicates the operational status of the fans.
Thermostat
The thermostat gives an alarm to alert you of temperature increasing inside the
Safety Manager cabinet (e.g. when filters are blocked or fans fail). When a
Honeywell SMS fan unit is installed, the thermostat is not required.
The Rittal SK 3110.000 thermostat is mounted on the top right-hand side of each
Rittal cabinet and is suitable for temperatures ranging from +5°C—+55°C
(+41°F—+131°F).
