Description

The baseplate-mounted FBMs, FCM10E, or FCM10Ef are identified to the system software by means of a unique, 6-character string called a “letterbug”. Most FBM-supporting baseplates include a DIP switch to help set this letterbug for the FBMs.

The PLC program can only be handed over to users for use or trial operation after passing on-site debugging. On site debugging requires the preparation of a debugging outline in advance. Follow the outline and move forward step by step.

When starting debugging, the equipment may not be running or even live. As debugging progresses, it can be gradually powered on, started up, and loaded until it operates according to rated conditions. The specific process is generally as follows:
1、 Check the wiring and address. To proceed point by point and ensure accuracy. It can be checked without electrification, that is to check the wiring, which is more troublesome. It is also possible to check with power and add a signal to see if the operation of the electronic control system meets the design purpose.
2、 Check the analog input and output. Check if the input and output modules are correct and working properly. If necessary, standard instruments can also be used to check the accuracy of input and output.
3、 Check and test the indicator light. If there are indicator lights on the control panel, the display of the corresponding indicator lights should be checked first. On the one hand, check if the light is broken, and on the other hand, check if the logical relationship is correct. The indicator light is a mirror that reflects the operation of the system. Adjusting it first will provide convenience for further debugging.
4、 Check the logic relationship between manual actions and manual control. After completing the above debugging, manual action and manual control logic relationship debugging can be carried out. To check the output points of each manual control, whether there are corresponding outputs and corresponding actions, and then see if each manual control can be achieved. If there are any issues, resolve them immediately.
5、 Semi automatic operation. If the system can work automatically, can semi-automatic work be achieved first. Step by step during debugging. Until the entire control cycle is completed. If there is a problem in any step or link, start solving the problem in that step or link.
6、 Automatic operation. After completing semi-automatic debugging, the automatic work can be further debugged. It is necessary to observe several working cycles to ensure that the system can operate continuously and correctly.
7、 Analog quantity debugging and parameter determination. The above debugging projects are all logic controlled. This is the first thing to debug the system. After these debugging are basically completed, you can start debugging analog quantity and pulse quantity control. The most important thing is to select appropriate control parameters. Generally speaking, this process is relatively long. Be patient and make multiple choices of parameters before selecting the best one. Some PLCs have PID parameters that can be obtained through self tuning. But this self tuning process also takes a considerable amount of time to complete.
8、 After completing all the above steps, the entire debugging is basically completed. But it’s best to conduct some abnormal condition checks again. Check if there are any abnormal situations or unavoidable illegal operations that may result in shutdown protection or alarm prompts. When conducting abnormal checks, it is important to fully consider the safety of the equipment and personnel!
